Jeremy Hoenig currently holds the position of drummer for Melvin Seals & JGB (Jerry Garcia Band), performing and recording with a variety of ensembles throughout the San Francisco Bay area. He plays an integral role in the city's dynamic Grateful Dead community, collaborating with original members such as Phil Lesh and Bob Weir. Jeremy is also a steady fixture in Stu Allen & Mars Hotel's lineup.

Music has profoundly shaped Jeremy's life, leading him to opportunities that have taken him across the globe, including Africa, Brazil, Thailand, New Zealand, Europe, Australia, Iraq, and nearly every state in the United States. His pursuit of musical diversity, spanning genres like funk, rock, reggae, jazz, blues, and Latin-Afro-Cuban, began in his teenage years. Jeremy's academic background includes a degree in Music and Philosophy from San Francisco State University, and he has advanced his drumming education at the Drummer's Collective in New York.

Jeremy's extensive experience includes performing with numerous bands based in San Francisco, as well as touring with the Latin rock band deSoL (signed with Curb Records) as an opening act for prominent groups like Los Lonely Boys, Widespread Panic, and the Wailers, including a tour for the USO in the Persian Gulf.

His performance resume boasts appearances at prestigious venues and festivals such as Madison Square Garden, Austin City Limits, The Capitol Theater, The Latin Grammys, Reggae on The River, Monterey Reggae Festival, Nelson Jazz and Blues Festival (New Zealand), Day on the Green (NZ), SXSW, Jerry Day San Francisco, and the Paris Film Festival, among others. Jeremy has been featured in television and radio performances nationwide and highlighted in magazines including Drum, GIG, and Billboard.

Following his travels through the South Pacific, Australia, and New Zealand, where he collaborated with Maori musicians at numerous indigenous events and concerts, Jeremy returned to the Bay Area to focus on his music and creativity. He has since improved his skills in writing, recording, and producing, working with musicians both internationally and locally. Jeremy recently co-produced and performed drums on three children's albums for "PapaHugs," earning a Grammy nomination for "Best Children's Album of the Year" at the 54th Grammy Awards.
